Alison Joy Willard is the name, and cooking, baking, photography, and illustration are my games. In 2008 I graduated from the Bauman College Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts Natural Chef program. Since then I have been exploring the worlds of vegan cooking and baking, including some short stints as a personal chef for a small busy family, baking and making vegan sandwiches for a gluten free bakery, and of course making countless vegan eatables on the home front and sharing them via wordpress, tumblr, and instagram. My current day job is delivering baked goods to local businesses and coming up with creative coffee drink concoctions at the bakery/coffee shop I work for.
My reasons for being vegan are first and foremost for the animals, secondly for the sustainability of our precious earth, and thirdly as a benefit of choosing plant foods that are organic, local, seasonal, and fresh, I enjoy vibrant health as well!
