We love kale! Kale is a superfood that is super PACKED with nutrients like iron, vitamin C, vitamin B6, and calcium. This is a simple and delicious side dish that we like to make quite often at the BEST house.
To make yourself some of this healthily-addictive kale first heat up your favorite skillet (we love our cast iron skillet, which just so happens to increase the iron content of whatever we make in it!) and add a decent layer of vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Chop a big bunch of kale into bite sized pieced and add to the skillet, steaming for a few minutes until the kale is tender. Add chopped garlic, salt and pepper, and cook a few more minutes so garlic flavors are released. Ta da! Kale is ready to be inhaled!
For an extra zing and even more vitamin C, squeeze some lemon on top. Yum!
